We all like to give advice, about everything and about nothing, especially without anyone asking us.
By the time we go on vacation, it's worth sending some advice for the next school year.
TIP nº 1
Give time to neurons
The challenge of any human being is to be increasingly able to realize what is happening around them. This is only possible if, over time we acquire new learning that will allow us to understand what is going on.
But each new learning corresponds to new connections that occur within the brain between various neurons. Now for there to be new connections between the cells in our brain, it takes time. It takes time to listen, time to read, time to observe. Time also to sleep, to relax, because without proper rest we can not progress throughout our life.
TIP nº 2
Have alpha moments
New learning requires a great diversity of stimuli. One of the ways to discover new subjects is to listen. When you watch a movie, you watch a music or theater show, you hear it and you can see it. We're silent, focused on absorbing everything we've seen. Also in a class it is important to listen, without distractions what someone says. It's the ALPHA moments. Because it's the first way to absorb information: to see and hear.
tip nº 3
Have beta moments
Another type of stimulus that we need to provide to our neurons is to interact with others. Listen, but also intervene, question and try to answer. In a group of 10 people or even more, the interaction between all can be very enriching. It's a debate, it's a conversation, it's an interaction. It's a BETA moment. Richer than just listening, BETA moments require great discipline not to become chaotic.
tip nº 4
Have omega moments
After listening in public, debating with a more restricted group, it is found to gather in the silence of our room. Read, write, think only. Take notes, consolidate everything you've heard and said. It is the OMEGA moments that will consolidate everything we have seen happen and ensure that everything stays in our memory.
TIP nº 5
Dive : do not stand on the surface.
Com os momentos ómega é possível mergulhar nos assuntos. É uma perda de tempo ficar pela superfície, sem ficar a saber nada. Às vezes somos apresados, queremos despachar. Não vale a pena.
TIP nº 6
Organize yourself: every thing in its place and every place for its thing.
A machine only works if you have the parts in place. A car won't move if it's got the wheels on the roof. Therefore, both our personal objects and school supplies should always be in the right place. Even on a piece of paper the notes need to be organized, or we can't review what we've already written.
tip nº 7
Don't fight the wind: raise your sails.
When the wind rises it seems that everything blows up. Some people get angry with the strong wind. The truth is that if we are well protected and fortified, feeling the strong wind is a source of pleasure. Smart people take advantage of the wind to help them get where they want to go. Just know where you want to go. The sailors even know how to navigate the bolina, which consists of sailing against the wind, zigzags, making themselves in the wind at the right angle.
